Classes at Tender Heart Quilts
Even though the dates have passed for some classes, we will be happy to reschedule them.

Beginner* - willing to learn - Intermediate ** - knows how to use sewing machine and basic sewing and quilting skills. - Skilled*** - has been quilting for a while and ready for a challenge.

	Star In The Mountains ** This wall hanging includes the West Virginia Star block and Delectable Mountains in a stunning quilt. Includes pattern from Subtle Endeavors. Instructor: Cheryl Thompson Cost: $20.00 plus supplies Dates: May 6 at 10:00 A.M. or 5:30 P.M.
	Tossed Nine Patch * Eleanor Burns created signature patterns that are easy with quick step by step directions that won't leave you frustrated. This pattern is just right for the beginner quilter or a child using precut 5" charm squares. Includes pattern. Cost: $24.00 plus materials Date: May 13 at 10:00 A.M. or 5:30 P.M.
	Six-Pack of Niners * Showcase some of our beautiful fabrics and threads with this simple ninepatch quilt. Our sample will be made from solid fabrics and will have an Amish feel. Size - 20" x 16 1/2" includes pattern. Instructor: Cheryl Thompson Cost $24.00 plus materials Dates: May 21 at 10:00 A.M.
	Drunkard's Path Table Topper ** Using Quiltsmart printed interfacing, we will be making this lovely table topper with no curves to sew. Thee will be some homework before class and also to finish the quilt at home, but you will learn in class the technique. Includes pattern and printed interfacing. Instructor: Beverly Clark Cost: $24.00 plus fabrics Date: June 17 at 5:30 P.M. or June 21 at 10:00 A.M.
	Raggy Tote * Use 5" charm squares to make this quick and easy tote bag. Makes a great Christmas present for your friends and family. Use our die cutter to make this project even quicker. Includes pattern. Good project for the kids. Cost: $20.00 Dates: July 1 at 10:00 A.M. or 5:30 P.M.
	Christmas in July * Come join us for a month long of fun creating your own Christmas projects for your friends and family. We will have a new selection of Christmas fabrics to choose from and project ideas to make and you can even use our machines. Cost: Donation jar will be available. Dates: Choose your own date. Just check with the shop to see if the classroom is available and open.
Everyone gets 15% off fabrics for classes and 10% off all purchases on class day except consignment items. This cannot be added to specials and items on sale. Payment is required at time of registration and a supply list will be given to purchase fabrics before class. No refund without a 3 day notice for cancellations. Minimum class size 2 people. Reserve machines on first come basis. Classroom Bernina models are also for sale. Ask for details. If you see a class you would like to take but the date doesn';t suit you, let us know and we may work it out. If you signed up for a club, please pick up your kits. Time and fabrics are being used preparing them.	New Classroom Rules for 2008 Classes need to be paid for at time of registration and supply list picked up. Fabric for class needs to be purchased before class so class can be started on time. Pre-washing is recommended. Some cutting will be required before some classes. Everyone needs to bring their own tools and supplies for class. Please label all your items with your name. No need to bring a cutting mat or irons. Bring your sewing machine unless you have reserved a classroom machine or if it is not needed for class. Class will start on time and finish on time unless otherwise stated. Start cleaning up your work 5-10 minutes before class ends. Club members - if you miss two classes and we have not heard from you, we will not make you any further kits. Members need to come pick their own kits up on class day or if unable to attend class, kits can be picked up during the month or next class day.
